On 04 September 2025, the ECO4ALL Action officially opened its WG1 & WG2 hybrid meeting at the Kos International Convention Centre, Greece. The event was inaugurated by the Action Chair, Olesea Plotnic, together with the local organiser, Professor Dimitris Lekkas. Their introduction highlighted the key objectives of COST Action CA22124 and set the framework for three days of intensive collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The first day’s programme was structured around building common ground for data-driven approaches to circular economy analysis. Under the moderation of Olesea Plotnic, WG leaders Kosjenka Dumančić and Isidora Milošević presented the scope of the meeting and emphasised the importance of identifying variable needs for quantitative analysis across participating countries.

The discussions highlighted both methodological challenges and the opportunities of harmonising national experiences in order to strengthen evidence-based strategies for sustainability. The session concluded with a collective reflection and Q&A.
The main outcome of Day 1 was Deliverable D3: “List of variable analytical needs to be shared among researchers for the next quantitative assessment”. This deliverable represents a key step toward coordinated data collection within the ECO4ALL network, ensuring consistency and comparability across countries and disciplines.
