The ECO4ALL COST Action CA22124 proudly held its first Management Committee meeting of Grant Period 2 (MC1 / GP2) in a hybrid format, hosted at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. The event brought together experts, researchers, and national representatives from across Europe to assess the Action’s progress and plan the next steps for implementing circular economy principles, with a strong focus on empowering consumers to reduce, reuse, and repair.

Chaired by Prof. Olesea Plotnic, ECO4ALL COST Chair, the meeting addressed updates on Action structure and participation, strategic goals and work plan for the new grant period, budget and financial matters, Working Group progress reports, the launch of the Young Researchers Programme, opportunities for synergy with other COST Actions, and the planning of future activities and outreach initiatives.

Working Group updates were presented by Kosjenka Dumančić (WG1 Leader), Isidora Milošević (WG2 Leader), and Maria Menshikova (WG3 Leader), while Tarlan Ahmadov, Young Research Mentor, outlined the premises for the Young Researchers Programme.

The ECO4ALL Management Committee currently includes 39 out of 41 COST countries, with each country entitled to delegate up to two members to ensure a balanced and inclusive structure. The meeting also highlighted the intention to expand participation to Malta, Belgium, and to welcome a Cooperative Member from South Africa, reinforcing ECO4ALL’s vision of a truly pan-European and global network for a fair, inclusive, and sustainable circular future.
