WG2. Quantitative analysis on consumer protection through the circular economy – Scientific

Task T2.1: Measurement of the efficiency at different country levels (District, National), using the available data collected in the previous WG1.

Task T2.2: Measurement and analysis of the drivers of inefficiency. This analysis should take into account the main challenges identified in the WG1.

Task T2.3: Measurement of the efficiency dependent of external socio-economic conditions.

Task T2.4: Analysis of stakeholder relationships throughout the value chain and identification of opportunities for new collaboration patterns.

Task T2.5: Analysis of existing policies in partner countries and identification of legal barriers for circular value chain management.

Task T2.6: Identification of technical barriers for the uptake of circular strategies application by analysing consumer level education and interdependences between systems, needs and possibilities, considering local specifics.

Task T2.7: Identification of possibilities to increase the consumer confidence in the benefits of the circular economy by developing a Guideline on circular economy advantages through reducing, reusing, repairing without damage environment (Circular economy that works for consumers).

All these tasks will be achieved by applying various methods: communication with decision-makers, such as the national authorities in the field of consumer protection in each country, but also by carrying out surveys among consumers by identifying common criteria for all participating countries.
