Call for Applications: 3rd ECO4ALL Training School (10–13 June 2026

The 3rd ECO4ALL Training School, titled “circular economy: legal and policy perspectives for supporting transition”, represents an important milestone in the ongoing activities of the ECO4ALL COST Action (CA22124). Organised within the framework of this European research network, the Training School reflects the Action’s commitment to advancing interdisciplinary knowledge and fostering collaboration at the intersection of consumer protection, circular economy, and sustainable market transformation.

Hosted by the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the event will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 10 to 13 June 2026, bringing together a new generation of researchers and innovators interested in shaping more sustainable and consumer-oriented economic systems.

In a context where the transition to a circular economy is becoming a central priority at European and global levels, this Training School addresses the growing need to better understand the legal and policy instruments, as well as the behavioural and market dynamics, that influence consumer rights and participation in circular practices. By creating a space for dialogue, learning, and exchange, the Training School contributes to building the capacity of young researchers to engage with complex regulatory and societal challenges.

A key objective of the ECO4ALL COST Action is to support and empower Early Career Researchers and Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs). In line with this mission, the Training School is specifically designed for trainees, offering them not only access to high-level academic content, but also the opportunity to become part of an active European network, exchange ideas, and develop future collaborations.

Beyond its educational dimension, the Training School plays an important role in strengthening the overall impact of the ECO4ALL COST Action. By facilitating knowledge transfer, promoting interdisciplinary approaches, and encouraging participation from diverse geographical and academic backgrounds, it contributes to the development of more inclusive and effective solutions for advancing consumer rights within the circular economy.

Participants selected to attend the Training School may benefit from financial support, provided in accordance with COST rules and the available budget, including a daily allowance and reimbursement of eligible travel expenses.
