The COST Action CA22124 – EU Circular Economy Network for All (ECO4ALL) is pleased to announce the final programme of the ECO4ALL International Conference 2026, entitled: “Consumer Rights in the Age of the Circular Economy: Towards Sustainable and Fair Production and Consumption Practices.”

The conference will take place on 26–27 March 2026 at Universitas Mercatorum, Rome (Italy) in a hybrid format, bringing together researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working on circular economy and consumer protection across Europe and beyond.

The programme reflects the interdisciplinary nature of the ECO4ALL network, combining expertise from law, economics, sustainability, innovation, and consumer behaviour to address the challenges of transitioning to a fair and inclusive circular economy.

The conference programme is structured around four key thematic sessions:

Session 1 – Measuring Circular Efficiency: From Policy Metrics to Consumer Impact
Exploring indicators, methodologies, and policy frameworks for measuring circular economy performance.

Session 2 – Designing for Longevity: Innovations and Best Practices in Circular Product Design
Presenting research on product durability, modular design, reuse, and sustainable product innovation.

Session 3 – Aligning Law and Design: Policy and Regulatory Pathways for a Fair Circular Transition
Discussing regulatory instruments and governance models that support circular economy implementation.

Session 4 – Special Session for Young Researchers: From Awareness to Action: Engaging Consumers and Businesses in Circular Practices
A dedicated session supporting Young Researchers and Early Career Investigators, highlighting innovative research on consumer engagement and circular business models.

The ECO4ALL International Conference aims to foster scientific exchange and international collaboration, supporting the development of evidence-based policies and innovative solutions that empower consumers and promote sustainable production and consumption.

The event will also take place alongside Working Group meetings and the Management Committee meeting of COST Action CA22124, further strengthening collaboration within the ECO4ALL network.
